South Bay Cities
The South Bay Service Council was formed in 2002, and is comprised of nine members nominated by the South Bay Council of Governments (COG) and appointed by Metro’s Board of Directors.
Overview
The South Bay Cities region includes the cities of Carson, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Lawndale, Lomita, Los Angeles (Harbor City, Harbor Gateway, San Pedro and Wilmington), Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Torrance, Westchester, and some unincorporated areas of the County of Los Angeles.
The South Bay Service Council usually meets the first Monday of each month at 5pm in the Residence Inn Conference Room located at 2420 Marine Av in Redondo Beach. The public is invited to attend and participate at Service Council meetings. To submit comments or to receive monthly South Bay Service Council agendas, email servicecouncils@metro.net.
