Gateway Cities
The Gateway Cities Service Council was formed in 2003, and is comprised of appointees nominated by the Gateway Cities Council of Governments (COG) and appointed by Metro’s Board of Directors.
Overview
The Gateway Cities region includes Artesia, Avalon, Bell, Bellflower, Bell Gardens, Cerritos, Commerce, Compton, Cudahy, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, Huntington Park, La Habra Heights, Lakewood, La Mirada, Long Beach, Lynwood, Maywood, Norwalk, Paramount, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Signal Hill, South Gate, Vernon, Walnut Park, Whittier, and some unincorporated areas of Southeast Los Angeles County.
The Gateway Cities Service Council usually meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5pm at Salt Lake Park Community Center in Huntington Park, located at 3401 E Florence Av. The public is invited to attend and participate at Service Council meetings. To submit comments or to receive monthly Gateway Cities Service Council agendas, email servicecouncils@metro.net.
