Metro recently completed updating its Public Participation Plan (the Plan), which shapes how we engage communities across Los Angeles County on service, fares, new projects, and equity programs. Updated every three years under Title VI requirements, the Plan ensures inclusive public input on:

    • Fare changes
    • Service adjustments
    • New transit projects
    • Mobility and equity programs
The Plan was updated with input gathered from seven public meetings held across LA County in May and June 2025. Additionally, feedback was gathered from the public during a 30-day public comment period from May 23-June 23, 2025.

The Plan was approved by the Metro Board at its Sept. 25, 2025 Board Meeting.
