Metro is improving safety at two high-risk rail crossings along one of the nation’s busiest rail corridors. The project includes three phases: a new roadway connection (2028), a new overpass (TBD), and a bike/pedestrian bridge (2029). Together, these improvements reduce collisions and create safer, more connected routes.

Status Update

Metro is finalizing the design for Phase A of the project, with construction anticipated to begin in the coming years. Public input continues to guide the design process for all three phases.
