Metro Strategic Plan
Goals
Metro Vision 2028 Plan outlines strategic goals for 2018–2028, and the specific actions Metro will undertake to meet those goals. It explains what the public can expect from Metro and describes how we intend to deliver on and hold ourselves accountable for those expectations.
Vision 2028 outlines the following five goals:
- Provide high-quality mobility options that enable people to spend less time traveling;
- Deliver outstanding trip experiences for all users of the transportation system;
- Enhance communities and lives through mobility and access to opportunity;
- Transform LA County through regional collaboration and national leadership; and
- Provide responsive, accountable, and trustworthy governance within the Metro organization.
The Action Matrix at the end of the Vision 2028 Plan summarizes the goals, initiatives and actions that Metro will implement.
Status
Metro will issue periodic reports to the public on the progress toward these goals and initiatives and will review the Plan periodically to ensure that we are advancing toward our vision. We are currently working on a Vision 2028 progress report—please check this webpage to read the report when it’s available.
