Overview
Here is a list of current efforts to bring more Metro Bikes to you.
Westside-Central Communities

Status
Westside-Central Communities
Metro has received several grants to add more stations to this area, and we’ve begun the community outreach process to help support station site planning.
Current Outreach
Metro is a member of a coalition that received a grant from PeopleForBikes (PFB) as part of the 2024 Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) Living Lab program. The coalition partners also include BikeLA, Los Angeles Walks, Walk ‘n Rollers and CicLAvia. The coalition partners are working together to inform this expansion effort. The goal is to create excitement for Metro Bike Share in diverse communities in the expansion area and across Los Angeles.

We are planning activities to build excitement for the expansion, including:
- Community rides
- Workshops
- In-person and virtual events
