Los Angeles Airport (LAX)

The LAX/Metro Transit Center (LAX/MTC) opened to the public on June 6, 2025, providing a direct connection to the airport via Metro Rail, bus, and municipal transit lines. Use the TripPlanner

Regular Metro fare: $1.75 one-way, including two hours of free transfers. Visit TapToGo for a virtual TAP card.

Free airport shuttle: Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) operates free Metro Connector bus shuttles between LAX/MTC and all airport terminals about every 10 minutes. Board the shuttle at Bus Bays 1 and 2 at LAX/MTC.

Metro Rail Service

C Line: Runs eastbound from Norwalk and terminates at LAX/MTC.
K Line: Provides direct access to LAX/MTC and runs north–south between Expo/Crenshaw and Redondo Beach stations.

FlyAway Service

FlyAway provides convenient, nonstop bus service to LAX from two locations:

  • Union Station (Downtown Los Angeles) – easily accessible by Metro Bus, Rail, and municipal buses.
  • Van Nuys (San Fernando Valley) – with frequent connections from local and regional bus services.

Bike Parking

Long Beach Airport (LGB)

Long Beach Transit provides direct service to Long Beach Airport and easy connections to Metro Rail.

Regular Long Beach Transit fare: $1.25; TAP cards are accepted.

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)

Hollywood Burbank Airport is served by local bus, rail, and shuttle options offering convenient connections to Metro’s B and G Lines. Metro Micro is also available Monday-Friday, 6am-10pm, Saturday-Sunday, 10am-10pm.

Local Bus Service

Burbank Bus:

  • Weekday service between North Hollywood Station (Metro B Line/G Line) and the airport.
  • Buses run approximately every 15 minutes during peak commute hours, every 20 minutes midday, and every 45 minutes in the evening.

Weekend Shuttle:
Free service from North Hollywood Station operated by Hollywood Burbank Airport Shuttle. Call 818-558-3179 for current times.
