Go Metro to the World Cup
This summer, you can get straight to the World Cup action by riding public transportation—at an affordable price—to Los Angeles Stadium (SoFi Stadium). Metro and our regional transit partners will run direct service to every World Cup match—no expensive stadium parking required.
There are multiple ways to take public transit to World Cup matches:
- Ride Metro bus, rail or regional transit to a direct service pick-up location near you. No reservation needed.
- Drive to a park-and-ride location with direct service to stadium.
- Walk up or get dropped off at a location.

Hawthorne/Lennox Station

LAX/Metro Transit Center
- 9225 Aviation Bl, Los Angeles, CA 90045
- No on-site parking available, nor is there a drop-off or pick-up zone. Please ride transit to this location.
- Service begins 3 hours, 15 minutes before matches. June 12 USA vs. Paraguay match service begins 1 hour earlier.
- This “S11 LAX/Metro Transit Center” route takes about 15 minutes travel time each way.
- Buses will drop off and pick up riders at “Lot S – Arbor Vitae/District Dr,” about a 5- to 10-minute walk to/from the stadium.
- Get there by Metro C Line, K Line, Metro Micro, many local bus lines, and a shuttle that runs between the station and LAX terminals.

Torrance Transit Center

Downtown Santa Monica

Downtown Long Beach
- Park at the structure located at 51 E 3rd St., Long Beach, CA 90802, and then proceed to boarding at 300 E 1st St, Long Beach, CA 90802

Newport Transportation Center

Direct Service Cost
Going to the Stadium:
- Drop-off, walk up or non-reserved parking: $1.75 standard Metro fare.
- Transferring from Metro bus/rail: One free transfer is included. See Metro fare policy for more details.
- Transferring from a LA County municipal transit operator: Transfer for a fee. See Metro fare policy for more details.
- If you reserved parking with SpotHero: Round-trip fare for all passengers in your vehicle is included in the reserved parking pass. Show your SpotHero parking pass at boarding.
- If you reserved parking at Downtown Long Beach: $1.75 standard Metro fare (round-trip fare is not included in parking pass).
- If you ride Metrolink to the Union Station pick-up location: One free transfer is included. See Metrolink connecting fare policy for more details.
Return:
- $1.75
- If you purchased reserved parking from SpotHero, return fare is included for all passengers in your vehicle
How to Pay:
- Tap your bank card directly — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and UnionPay are all accepted. No setup required.
- Use a TAP card — available as a physical card, in Apple Wallet on iPhone, or via the TAP app on iPhone and Android. Pro-tip: Add roundtrip fare of $3.50.
