There are plenty of public transportation options for getting to and from regional airports Long Beach Airport (LGB) and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR).
How to Get to Long Beach Airport
Long Beach Transit provides direct service to Long Beach Airport with easy connections to Metro Rail. Regular Long Beach Transit Fare is $1.25. TAP cards are accepted.
Long Beach Transit Bus Lines:
- 102 Downtown Long Beach ↔ LGB ↔ Willow Station (A Line)
- 104 Downtown Long Beach ↔ LGB ↔ Lakewood Bl
- 111 Downtown Long Beach ↔ LAX ↔ Downey via Lakewood Bl and Century Bl
Note: Routes 102 and 104 connect with the Metro A Line (Blue) at Willow Station, providing rail access to downtown Los Angeles.
Travel Tip

How to Get to Burbank Airport
Hollywood Burbank Airport is served by local bus, rail and shuttle options offering convenient connections to Metro’s B and G Lines. Metro Micro is also available Monday-Friday, 6am-10pm, Saturday-Sunday, 10am-10pm.
Local Bus Service
Burbank Bus:
- Weekday service between North Hollywood Station (Metro B Line/G Line) and the airport.
- Buses run approximately every 15 minutes during peak commute hours, every 20 minutes midday, and every 45 minutes in the evening.
Weekend Shuttle:
- Free service from North Hollywood Station operated by Hollywood Burbank Airport Shuttle. Call 818-558-3179 for current times.
Rail Connections
Metrolink Ventura County Line:
- Burbank Airport–South Station
- Short walk (¼ mile) or free airport shuttle to terminals
Metrolink Antelope Valley Line:
- Burbank Airport–North Station
- 1 mile north of terminals; free airport shuttle available
Amtrak:
- Coast Starlight & Pacific Surfliner (stops at Burbank Airport–South)
- Regional connections to Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Diego
