Frequently Asked Questions

GoPass riders should continue to use their GoPass TAP card to receive free, unlimited rides. Using a credit or debit card to pay fare will result in fare being charged to that credit or debit card.

The most common reasons include:

  1. Your card wasn’t registered with a current Year 6 activation code (prior school year codes will not work).
  2. You didn’t wait at least 1 hour after registering online before trying to ride.
  3. You didn’t tap your card within 14 days of online registration, meaning you will need to request a new activation code from your school office.

If your card is lost or stolen, contact your school administration for a replacement, and then visit taptogo.net/gopass to activate your new card using a current school year activation code. (Note: TAP Customer Care can assist with system registration but cannot issue replacement cards directly).
