Metro’s plan for less congestion includes improvements to EB SR-91 between Atlantic Avenue and Cherry Avenue. As part of the I-605 Hot Spots Program, this project adds an eastbound auxiliary lane between the I-710 Freeway on-ramp and the Cherry Avenue off-ramp. This project will enhance safety and reduce traffic congestion.

Status

Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Document (PAED) phase was completed in May 2021. Final Design (PS&E) phase was completed in May 2022.
