The project extends from Sepulveda Bl to Studebaker Rd/I-605, with current construction focused on Segment 1 between Sepulveda Bl and Central Av.
Yes. The ExpressLanes will operate similarly to the I-10 and I-110 lanes, with variable tolls based on congestion. Carpoolers with a transponder ride free.
Revenues fund operations, safety services, and are reinvested into the corridor through grants for transit, active transportation and roadway projects.
General lanes will remain, but lane closures and restriping will occur during construction. ExpressLanes are designed to reduce congestion overall.

What's Underway
Metro is advancing I-105 ExpressLanes construction with major activities including retaining wall, sound wall, underpass, and bridge reconstruction, plus roadway paving. Work spans multiple locations in both directions, with construction beginning as early as March 2025 and continuing through Spring 2026.
