11 Regional Transit Providers Join Metro to Provide Seamless Transit Service Across Southern California Region
With eight FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches set for Los Angeles, Metro is proud to expand its World Cup Enhanced Services with more parking location options in Anaheim, Culver City, Newport Beach, Santa Monica and Torrance, as well as locations near LAX. As the official public transit provider for the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host City, Metro, with the vital support of the region’s regional transit providers and charter companies, will ensure fans travel to and from these unforgettable matches with seamless, accessible and safe service.
“This summer’s World Cup will redefine how fans experience the game, and Metro’s regional transit partnerships alongside expanded parking access will play a crucial role,” said Fernando Dutra, Metro Board Chair and City of Whittier Council Member. “Strong partnerships between Metro and surrounding communities, along with well-planned parking access, will be essential to ensuring accessibility and ease of travel. This is an opportunity to demonstrate how coordinated planning and shared investment can support not just a successful event, but a lasting model for how our region moves people easily, efficiently and sustainably.”
Since parking at Los Angeles Stadium will be limited, Metro and its regional transit partners and charter companies will provide affordable and direct bus service from key rail stations and locations.
