Metro Station Events
The Station Activation program transforms Metro stations and properties in community-centered spaces that celebrate culture, support local economies and enhance the rider experience. Operating at the intersection of transit, community engagement and economic development, the program helps create welcoming destinations through events, partnerships and positive community presence.

JULY
July 1 – 31: (Monday through Friday): Coffee Cart Service
- Station: Wilshire/Fairfax (Ella’s Coffee); Wilshire/La Brea (Crenshaw Coffee)
- Hours of Operation (Ella’s): Monday and Friday 7am – 3pm; Tuesday through Thursday 7 – 11am

July 18: World Cup – 11:11 Projects Community Celebration at Reseda
- Station: Reseda (G Line)

- The World Cup celebration is coming to the San Fernando Valley with live music, food trucks, art, soccer activities and nonstop energy. In partnership with 11:11 Projects, the station parking lot will transform into a community hub where culture and World Cup excitement collide.
July 19: World Cup – CicLAvia Meet the Hollywoods
- Station: Hollywood/Highland
- Event Time: 9am – 4pm
- Expected Attendance: 500+
- The upcoming ‘Meet the Hollywoods’ event will bridge the City of West Hollywood and the City of Los Angeles across a 6.5-mile route along Highland, Santa Monica and Hollywood Boulevards. There will be a festive World Cup theme at the Hollywood/Highland station to provide a unique cultural experience for attendees. We look forward to this being a signature event that brings our World Cup activation series to a successful and high-energy conclusion.
July 19: World Cup – Beach Streets Kickin’ It 2026
- Station: 1st Street (Long Beach)
- Event Time: 11am – 5pm
- Expected Attendance: 500+
- We are pleased to provide support for the Long Beach ‘Beach Streets: Kickin’ It’ event. Metro MVPs will be providing wayfinding and community engagement, we are excited to help build excitement for this local Open Streets initiative. It’s a great opportunity for us to maintain a presence and support our regional partners as they deliver this car-free experience to the Long Beach community.

August 15: Metro Art Presents KCRW Summer Nights
- Station: Union Station

- Metro Art is teaming up with KCRW to present one of their iconic Summer Nights events at historic Union Station. Catch the hypnotic grooves of RIO KOSTA, plus sets from KCRW DJs J.Rocc and LUXXURY on the lush South Patio. The public is invited to dance under the stars in this storied LA landmark, visit the station’s multiple art exhibitions, and soak in a night of music and movement in the heart of DTLA. Event is free and Metro Art perks are offered to the first 40 attendees to show their TAP cards.
