• Skate Hunnies is an inclusive, Los Angeles-based community that empowers skaters of all skill levels to connect through high-energy events. For their upcoming activation, they will begin at the Wilshire/Fairfax station and skate to the Academy Museum.

• Parmalee Pottery is a creative community hub that fosters connection through accessible, hands-on ceramic workshops and artisan events. For their activation they will host an interactive pottery workshop directly on the Wilshire/Fairfax plaza.

• Metro is partnering internally to pilot new plaza design elements for future use during LA28 while adding music and amenities to create an energized pre-game atmosphere for riders.

• Station: Memorial Park, Del Mar

• Metro will guide fans to the Pasadena Convention Center for a community watch party, with music, match highlights, and clear wayfinding along the route. 

June 13: Dance Free Outdoor Salsa Class

June 17: Destination Ethiopia 

• Station: Wilshire/Fairfax

• A culturally immersive event celebrating Ethiopian food, music, and small businesses. 

June 18: World Cup – Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce Celebration  

• Station: Mariachi Plaza (E Line)

• Metro is working alongside the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce to welcome riders with music, match highlights, and wayfinding that connect the station to the nearby community watch party. 

June 19: World Cup – DTLA Alliance & The Bloc Celebration  

• Station: 7th St/Metro Center (A, B, D, E Lines)  
• Event Time: 4pm – 10pm  
• Metro is transforming its busiest station into an energetic gateway guiding fans directly to the watch party at The Bloc. 

June 20: World Cup – 909 Market Celebration  

• Station: Pomona North (A Line)  
• Event Time: 5pm – 10pm  
• Metro is teaming up with 909 Market to deliver a large-scale, World Cup-themed market and watch party expected to draw thousands of attendees. 

June 21: World Cup – City of Santa Monica Celebration  

• Station: Downtown Santa Monica (E Line)  
• Event Time: 10am – 6pm  
• Metro is supporting the city’s adjacent event by creating a seamless arrival experience with music, wayfinding, and amenities that welcome riders to the festivities. 

June 21: World Cup – Original Farmers Market FIFA World Cup Fan Zone  

• Station: Wilshire/Fairfax (D Line)  
• Event Time: 11am – 3pm  
• Metro is partnering with Angel City Football Club and PIKL LA to activate its newest station with interactive games, music, and food as fans head toward the nearby fan zone. 

June 24: World Cup – Koreatown Celebration  

• Station: Wilshire/Western (D Line)  
• Event Time: 4:30pm – 8:30pm  
• Metro is bringing music and match highlights to the mezzanine and plaza to improve the rider experience as they make their way to the City of Los Angeles’ nearby watch party. 

June 27: World Cup – Ube Fest Soccer Celebration  

• Station: Norwalk Station (C Line)  
• Event Time: 12pm – 8pm  
• Metro is partnering with Ube Fest to create a festival that brings together food, culture, and World Cup viewing in a family-friendly setting, expected to draw thousands of attendees. 

June 27: California Cultural Festival 

• Station: Wilshire/Fairfax

• A calming, community-focused festival centered on mental wellness, featuring guided yoga, meditation, sound baths and live music. 

June 28: World Cup – Leimert Park Celebration  

• Station: Leimert Park Station (K Line)

• Metro is joining Juneteenth and Open Streets celebrations with music and cultural elements that connect the station to the surrounding community.

• Event Time: 8:30am – 5pm (July 4); 11:30am – 8pm (July 5) Metro is supporting access to the official fan zone at Magic Johnson Park by welcoming riders with programming and guiding them with clear wayfinding.
