Metro’s Coordinated Public Transit–Human Services Transportation Plan (Coordinated Plan) addresses the mobility needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs, throughout Los Angeles County. Developed with community input, the Plan identifies needs, service gaps, and strategies that promote greater independence, social connection, and economic participation.

On July 24, 2025, the Metro Board of Directors adopted the 2025–2028 Coordinated Plan. The Plan was developed with input from over 450 participants, including local transit agencies, cities, advocacy groups, senior and disability service providers, and community stakeholders.

The Coordinated Plan also ensures Metro meets federal requirements for funding programs that support accessible transportation through 2028.
