With more than 100,000 works of art, LACMA is the largest art museum in the west. Located halfway between the beach and downtown Los Angeles, LACMA serves more than 1 million visitors a year with its rich art collection, spanning both geography and time. Show your valid TAP card, Metro Employee ID, or LA County Employee ID at the ticket office and save $2 on your general admission ticket.
Admission is free every weekday after 3pm to LA County Residents. LACMA is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 11am-5pm. On Fridays, the museum is open from 11am-8pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open from 10am-7pm. The museum is closed every Wednesday. For exhibits and special events, visit lacma.org.
