Overview

Starting December 14, 2014, look for the improved Metro Rapid Line 734 and new Metro Rapid Line 744 and Valley-Westside Express . Together, these new lines will replace former Lines 741 and 761, offering better connections, fewer transfers and more flexibility for Valley riders. And when you use a TAP card for Metro’s new 1-Way Trip, you can reach most destinations on a single fare.

Metro’s Valley-Westside Express

It flies through the Sepulveda Pass using brand new HOV lanes on the 405, making your trip faster than ever. Service operates Monday through Friday, peak hours only. Free park and ride lots at the Orange Line Sepulveda and Van Nuys Stations make it easy to take advantage of this speedy service.

Metro Rapid Line 734

Stopping in the Sepulveda Pass or traveling to Westwood outside of peak hours? Line 734’s new route extension provides faster service and a one-seat ride to all destinations between the Valley and the Westside. Service operates Monday through Friday. Weekend, early morning and late night service will be provided by an extension of Metro Local Line 234 from Sherman Oaks to Westwood.
