Here’s how to play:
Be creative. Mention business on Facebook and/or Twitter by posting a photo. Find participating businesses .
Include #EatShopPlay in each post and make sure to also hashtag the neighborhood where the business is located: #Crenshaw, #DTLA, #Inglewood, #LittleTokyo, #Wilshire or #BeverlyHills.
Set post to “public” so we can find it.
Easy! You’re entered to win. Winning posts will be selected at Metro’s sole discretion. Winners will be announced and shared by Metro each Friday.
No purchase necessary. Drawings are open to all legal residents of the State of California who are eighteen (18) years or older on the date of entry. Employees of Metro and/or sponsors and their immediate family members are not eligible to win a prize. There is no limit to the number of qualified entries that may be submitted per person, per day.
Winners will be contacted directly via the message platform used to enter. There is a limit of one prize per person per week.
Eat, Shop, Play is a marketing and community engagement campaign intended to bring focused attention to businesses impacted by construction of the Crenshaw/LAX, Purple Line Extension and the Regional Connector Transit Projects. The goal of the campaign is to make it easy for consumers to eat at local restaurants, shop at local stores and play at local destinations within the project areas.
Through the use of online tools, traditional media and promotional materials, Eat, Shop, Play makes a significant commitment to supporting businesses, during and after construction.
Participation for businesses is free. The business must be located on the project alignment.
