LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States. With over 100,000 pieces on display, there’s plenty to see inside. But with 20 acres of beautifully landscaped Hancock Park surrounding the museum, and outdoor exhibits like Chris Burden's Urban Light installation, a visit to LACMA offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy works of art outside. Avoid parking costs by going Metro. Take the Metro Purple Line to the Wilshire/Western station, then transfer to the #20 bus.
