Installation of Electric Bus Charging Station at Canoga Station

Summary

Metro Orange Line Charging Station construction continues as new bus charging station work is scheduled at the Canoga Station bus plaza sidewalk adjacent to the park and ride lot beginning November 18, 2019 through late December 2019. 

Metro is converting its entire fleet of buses to zero emission buses. This transition to electric buses will provide a cleaner, quieter fleet and significantly lower environmental impacts. The first phase will launch with the Orange Line battery electric zero emission buses.

When: Beginning Monday, November 18 through December 31, 2019.

Where: Park & Ride lot and adjacent sidewalk in bus plaza, 6620 Canoga Ave, Canoga Park, CA 91303

What to Expect 

Please observe parking restrictions adjacent to the construction zone.

Pedestrians will not be able to access the west sidewalk in the bus plaza temporarily and will have to use the designated crosswalk on the east end of the platform to access the platforms.

The Metro Orange Line will operate on a normal schedule.

Please Plan Ahead: Metro encourages Park & Ride lot patrons to allow extra time to arrive and complete their trips.
