Update: Pile Installation Wilshire/Fairfax Intersection
The design-builder will continue pile installation on the north side of Wilshire Bl and Fairfax Av thru November 2016. This operation calls for piles to be drilled within the Wilshire/Fairfax intersection, and will require lane reductions on Fairfax Av, over several weekends from October 1st into November. There will also be intermittent street closures on Wilshire Bl.

This weekend, pile installation work will require that Fairfax Av. is reduced to one lane in each direction between 6th St and 8th St on Saturday, October 1st starting at 4am thru Monday, October 3rd at 6am.
Left turns restricted from Fairfax Ave to Wilshire Bl from both directions.
Eastbound Wilshire Bl.: left turns are restricted on to northbound Fairfax Av
Westbound 6th St.: First left turn pocket closed onto southbound Fairfax Av., second left turn pocket open.
TIME: 7am-11pm: Drilling and piling work hours.
11pm-7am: Support activities
(concrete pours, secure plates, sound blanket and closure removal)
Lane reductions will begin on Sat., Oct 1st at 4am until Mon., Oct 3rd at 6am.

What to Expect
All work has received necessary permits and approvals.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.
Access for emergency responders will be maintained.
Construction may result in changes to bus routes and stop locations. Metro will post signs at affected stops to advise riders of alternative boarding locations. Real-time information will be available at metro.net/service/advisories or 323.gometro.

Metro northbound 217 and DASH Fairfax will post stop relocations and announce relocations and detours to riders.
