Beverly Hills Update: AM/PM Utility Relocation Work at Wilshire/La Cienega

Advanced relocation work will continue during the week and over the weekend starting Tuesday, February 21st thru Monday, February 27th, 2017 along the north side of Wilshire Blvd. and on La Cienega Blvd. north of Wilshire Blvd.

Work will occur along the north side of Wilshire Blvd between San Vicente Blvd. to just west of La Cienega Blvd. and on La Cienega Blvd. just north of Wilshire Blvd. This work will consist of accessing the vaults for cable pulling activities.

See lane reductions and sidewalk impacts below:

Wilshire Blvd.: One lane will remain open westbound between San Vicente Blvd. and Le Doux Rd.

La Cienega Blvd.:  Reduced to 2 lanes north of Wilshire to Clifton Way, with a partial sidewalk closure adjacent to the La Cienega staging yard.


Work hours and dates: 

  • Tuesday, 2/21 10:30pm to Wednesday 2/22 at 7am
  • Wednesday, 2/22 10pm to Thursday 2/23 at 7am
  • Thursday, 2/23 8pm to Friday, 2/24 at 7am
  • Friday, 2/24 Midnight to Saturday, 2/25 at 8am
  • Saturday, 2/25 8am to 6pm and Midnight to Sunday, 2/26 at 8am
  • Saturday, 2/25 8am to 6pm and Midnight to Sunday, 2/26 at 8am
  • Sunday, 2/26 8am-6pm and Midnight to Monday, 2/27 at 7am

Metro Access

Metro bus stops for 720/20 have been relocated to Wilshire Blvd./Stanley Ave. and Wilshire Blvd./La Jolla Ave. Metro buses will post stop relocations and announce relocations and detours to riders.

Metro Alerts 

Train service will be replaced by bus shuttles on two stretches of the Expo Line this month in order for maintenance and repair work to be performed on overhead wires, track and communications equipment. Click for more info.
