Installation of Pedestrian Canopy on North Side Constellation Blvd.


Starting Tuesday, February 25 the construction contractor will be installing a pedestrian canopy over the north sidewalk on Constellation Blvd. adjacent to the full closure to provide protection during the tunnel boring operation. Installation of the canopy and lighting will take one week. Pedestrian access will be maintained during installation. Lighting will be provided within the canopy to ensure the illumination of the sidewalk during night hours. The pedestrian canopy will remain in place through September 2020.

  • Work Hours: 9am – 3pm

  • North sidewalk on Constellation Blvd. adjacent to full closure


  • The north sidewalk on Constellation Blvd. will remain accessible for pedestrians during installation.
  • Flaggers will be available to direct pedestrian traffic.
  • Lighting will be installed on the canopy for illumination during night hours.
