Intermittent Lane Reductions on Wilshire Blvd. for Monitoring Equipment Removal

Summary

Beginning Monday, April 29 and continuing through Friday, May 3, westbound Wilshire Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to two lanes to support the removal of monitoring equipment underneath Wilshire Blvd. The following traffic control will be in place, pending approval from the City of Los Angeles.

Wilshire Bl. between Serrano Ave. and St. Andrews Pl. 

  • Westbound Wilshire Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to one lane between Serrano Ave. and St. Andrews Pl. from 9am to 3:30pm.
  • Westbound bus stops at Western and Manhattan Pl. may be shut down during work hours.

Wilshire Blvd. between La Brea Ave. and Cloverdale Blvd.

  • Westbound Wilshire Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to two lanes between La Brea Ave. and Cloverdale Blvd. from 9am to 3:30pm.
  • Left turns from Wilshire Blvd. onto Cloverdale Ave. and Detroit St. will be restricted in both directions.

Wilshire Blvd. between Burnside Ave. and Hauser Blvd. 

  • Westbound Wilshire Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to two lanes between Burnside Ave. and Hauser Blvd. from 9am to 3:30pm.
  • Left turns from Wilshire Blvd. onto Hauser Blvd. will be restricted in both directions.

  • Construction within project staging yards is 24-hours/day. 
  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals.
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.
