Concrete Deliveries to the Wilshire/La Cienega Station

As part of the Federal government’s Coronavirus Guidance for America, transportation infrastructure is considered an “Essential Critical Infrastructure.” Additionally, transit capital projects are not subject to the State of California’s Stay at Home order, therefore Metro construction projects continue to progress.

Summary

On Saturday, September 26, from 12am to 4pm, westbound Wilshire Blvd. between San Vicente Blvd. and La Cienega Blvd. will be reduced to two lanes and eastbound Wilshire Blvd. between Le Doux Rd. San Vicente Blvd. will be reduced to a single lane.* This traffic control will support concrete delivery activities to the La Cienega Station.

This work is pending approval from the City of Beverly Hills.

  • Wilshire Blvd. between La Cienega Blvd. and San Vicente Blvd.

TRAFFIC CONTROL

  • Westbound Wilshire Blvd. between San Vicente Blvd. and La Cienega Blvd. will be reduced to two lanes.
  • Eastbound Wilshire Blvd. between Le Doux Rd. and San Vicente Blvd. will be reduced to a single lane.
  • Through traffic at Hamilton Dr. and Gale Dr. will be restricted.
  • Left turn movements from Wilshire Blvd. onto La Cienega Blvd., Hamilton Dr., and Gale Dr. will be restricted during these lane reductions. Left turn movements from La Cienega Blvd., Hamilton Dr., and Gale Dr. onto Wilshire Blvd. will be restricted.
  • Parking meters between La Cienega Blvd. and San Vicente Blvd. will be inactive.

The 720 bus stop at Wilshire Blvd. and La Cienega Blvd. has been temporarily relocated to Willaman Dr. Our construction may have relocated your bus stop, or changed your route. For information changes to Metro service, please call 323.GoMetro or visit: https://www.metro.net/service/advisories/

  • Construction within project staging yards is 24-hours/day. 
  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals.
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.
