As part of the Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will be working on street restoration on Ivy Av and Florence Av; and Fir Av and Florence Av. The work will be implemented in four phases and be last approximately four weeks.

WHAT: Street restoration  
WHEN: Starting Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 8am to 4:30pm and 9pm to 6am Monday through Friday and from 8am to 5pm and 9pm to 6am Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. 
DURATION: Four weeks

What To Expect

Phase One

  • One westbound lane reduction on Florence Av, east of Ivy Av
  • One northbound lane reduction on Ivy Av, north of Florence Av
  • Northeast sidewalk closure at the corner of Ivy Av and Florence Av
  • Pedestrians will be rerouted to the south side of Florence Av

Phase Two

  • One westbound lane reduction on Florence Av, east of Ivy Av
  • One southbound lane reduction on Ivy Av, north of Florence Av
  • Northwest sidewalk closure at the corner of Ivy Av and Florence Av
  • Pedestrians will be redirected to the south side of Florence Av

Phase Three

  • One eastbound lane reduction on Florence Av, west of Fir Av
  • One southbound lane reduction on Fir Av, south of Florence Av
  • Southwest sidewalk closure at the corner of Fir Av and Florence Av
  • Pedestrians will be rerouted to the north side of Florence Av

Phase Four  

  • One eastbound lane reduction on Florence Av, west of Fir Av
  • One northbound lane reduction on Fir Av, south of Florence Av
  • Southeast sidewalk closure at the corner of Fir Av and Florence Av
  • Pedestrians will be rerouted to the north side of Florence Av
