September 20, 2018: Saturday work start times now beginning at 7 am.
September 18, 2018: Work is now scheduled for three weeks. Anticipated work hours, weather permitting, are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3:30 pm, and Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm. Additional activities include pavement removal and street restoration.
Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will begin geotechnical installation activities at the 6th St/Flower St intersection.
Work is anticipated to begin Wednesday, September 12, 2018, and continue through mid-October. Anticipated work hours, weather permitting, are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3:30 pm, and Saturday, 7 am to 6 pm.
Activities include drilling, inclinometer installation, pavement removal and street restoration.
Pedestrian access will be maintained outside of the work area and all crosswalks will be maintained.
What to Expect
Thru traffic will be maintained on Flower St with one partial lane reduction on the east side of Flower St, between 6th St and Wilshire.
Access to businesses and driveways will be maintained during work hours.
