Utility investigation activities on Flower St and 7th St

Summary

Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will begin utility investigation in order to install a future train-way power duct bank on Flower St between 6th St and 7th St.

Potholing will continue along 7th St between Flower St and Figueroa St. Work is anticipated to begin on Monday, July 2, 2018, and continue for seven months.

Anticipated work hours, weather permitting, are Monday through Sunday, from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

Essentials

Pedestrian access and access to all adjacent businesses will be maintained at all times. Please use the alternate crosswalks outside the work zone.

Activities include: mobilizing equipment, saw cutting, grinding, removing asphalt, excavating, and setting up traffic plates.

  • Lane reduction on southbound Flower St between 6th St and 7th St.
  • Lane reductions on both eastbound and westbound Wilshire Bl between Figueroa St and Hope St.
  • Lane reduction on westbound 7th St between Figueroa St and Hope St.
