Summary

Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will continue installing geotechnical instrumentation on Flower St between 5th St and 6th St.

Work will continue on Thursday, February 1, 2018, through August 2018. Anticipated work hours, weather permitting, are from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

Essentials

Geotechnical instrumentation is needed to monitor the underground work during construction. Parking garage and loading zone access will be maintained at all times.

Sawcutting activities will take place intermittently during work hours.

There will be no pedestrian access restrictions during work hours. Access to nearby businesses will be maintained.

What to Expect

Lane reductions will be in place on southbound Flower St between 4th St and 6th St. Right turns from Flower St. onto westbound 5th St will be maintained.

Turns from eastbound 6th St onto southbound Flower St may be restricted intermittently.

  • Alternate route: Eastbound 6th St turns left onto northbound Figueroa St, right onto eastbound 4th St, and right back onto Flower St.

Turns from southbound Flower St onto eastbound 6th St may be restricted intermittently.

  • Alternate route: Southbound Flower St turns right onto eastbound Wilshire Bl, left onto northbound Hope St, and right back onto 6th St.
