Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will be paving at the intersection of 6th St. and Flower St. Work is anticipated to begin Saturday, May 20, 2017 for one day.
Anticipated work hours: 8 am to 6 pm
Lane reductions will occur on southbound Flower St. between 5th St. and Wilshire Blvd. during work hours, maintaining thru traffic at all times.
At least three crosswalks will remain open at all times. Access to pedestrians will be maintained outside of the work area.
Activities include: Saw cutting steel plates, placing and compacting asphalt.
What to Expect
- Access to businesses and driveways on Flower St. and 6th St. will be maintained at all times.
- Right turns from eastbound 6th St. to southbound Flower St. will be maintained at all times.
- Left turns from southbound Flower St. to eastbound 6th St. will be restricted intermittently.
- A full directional closure of eastbound 6th St. from Figueroa St. to Flower St. will occur intermittently.
