Friday, May 19: Additional weekend shifts are now scheduled for this activity. Work takes place Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21, from 7 am through 3:30 pm and 3:30 pm through 5 am the following day.
Friday, May 12: An additional weekend shift is now scheduled for this activity. Work will begin at 7 pm on Friday, May 12, and will remain in place through 5 am on Monday, May 15.
Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will continue excavation activities on Flower St. between 4th St. and 6th St.
Work will continue from May 8, 2017 and continue through June 2018. Anticipated work hours are: 7 am to 3:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 5 am the following day, Monday through Friday, as well as Saturdays and Sundays, as needed.
Local access to businesses will be maintained during the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained outside the construction area.
The following activities will take place during the closure: saw cutting, roadway removal, protection of utilities, muck removal and temporary deck panels will be installed.
What to Expect
Lane reductions on Flower St, maintaining one lane at all times, Monday-Friday, 7 pm – 5 am.
Work activity will also take place on Flower St. behind the current traffic k-rail closure.
Flaggers will be onsite to facilitate trucks as needed. Access to all parking garages will be maintained.
