Potholing Activity on Flower St. South of 6th St.

Summary

The Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will continue conduct underground investigation activity on Flower St. south of 6th St.

Work is anticipated to continue Tuesday, January 3, 2017 and continue for approximately twelve weeks.

Anticipated work hours are:

  • Monday—Friday: 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

Lane reductions will take place on Flower St. between 6th St. and Wilshire Blvd. and thru traffic will be available.

Essentials

The activity will take place in the sidewalk. Activities include removal of sidewalk pavers, excavation, backfill and restoration of pavers. Sidewalk width will be reduced during work hours.

What to Expect

Traffic
One of two right turn lanes from eastbound 6th St. onto southbound Flower St. will be restricted.

Pedestrian access will be maintained outside of the work zone. Driveway and local access will be maintained at all times.
