DWP Power Intercept and Street Restoration on the south side of 5th St., west of Flower St.

Summary

As part of on-going power relocation efforts, LADWP will be performing intercept work on Saturday, October 29, and temporary paving work on Tuesday, November 1, on the south side of 5th St. and west of Flower St.

Anticipated work hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Tuesday will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Thru traffic on southbound Flower St. will be reduced to three lanes during work hours. Westbound 5th St. will be lane reduced during the work hours. Three thru traffic lanes and one right turn lane will be available.

Essentials

Activities include removal of metal plates, power intercept work, and backfill on Saturday and asphalt paving and compacting work on Tuesday.

What to Expect

Local access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will be maintained outside of work area.

Commercial loading dock and underground parking lot access to City National Plaza will be available at all times.
