Continuation of Excavation at 2nd and Hope Station with additional shift

Wednesday, March 1: The duration of this work has been extended to March 20, 2017.

November 10, 2016: Work hours extended until 2 a.m. on weekdays (Monday–Friday).

August 17, 2016: Additional swing shifts to begin August 22.

Summary

Regional Connector Constructors (RCC) will continue excavation of the 2nd/Hope Station.

Work is anticipated to continue with the addition of a swing shift as early as Monday, August 22, 2016 for approximately four months. Anticipated work hours are 7a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., Monday through Friday. Saturdays are from 8 a.m. to 6p.m. and on Sundays as needed.

Activities include excavation, installation of excavation bracing, site grading and hauling of material.

Essentials

Access to pedestrians will be maintained outside of the work area.

What to Expect

Work will behind current k-rail with current traffic closures. No additional closures needed.
