As part of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will restore Crenshaw Bl. This work includes grinding of the existing roadway, placement of new asphalt paving, final striping of three traffic lanes in each direction, and installation of traffic signal improvements along Crenshaw Bl beginning at 7am on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
What to Expect
A full closure of Crenshaw Bl between 48th St and 43rd St, and Vernon Av between Leimert Bl and Victoria Av will be implemented starting at 7pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, through 6am Thursday, December 17, 2020.
During the full closure, the following intersections will be impacted.
- 43rd Pl and Crenshaw Bl
- Vernon Av and Crenshaw Bl
- Brynhurst Av and Crenshaw Bl
Lane closures along Crenshaw Bl, and Leimert Bl will be implemented with one lane of traffic maintained in each direction. Beginning at 7am on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, through 6pm Saturday, December 19, 2020.
Parking restrictions along Crenshaw Bl between 48th St and 43rd St, and Leimert Bl between 46th St and 43rd St.
Access to emergency responders will be maintained.
