As part of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will restore Crenshaw Bl. This work includes grinding of the existing roadway, construction of a center median, placement of new asphalt paving, final striping of three traffic lanes in each direction, and installation of traffic signal improvements along Crenshaw Bl beginning at 6am on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
What to Expect
Lane closures along Crenshaw Bl, and Obama Bl will be implemented with one lane of traffic maintained in each direction. Beginning at 6am on Thursday, February 18, 2021, through 7pm Saturday, February 27, 2021.
- Construction of a center median on Crenshaw Bl between Exposition Bl and Obama Bl.
- Placement of new asphalt paving along Crenshaw Bl between Rodeo Pl and Exposition Bl, and Obama Bl between Bronson Av and Victoria Av.
- Parking restrictions along Crenshaw Bl between 29th St and Coliseum St, and Obama Bl between Victoria Av and Bronson Av.
- Access to emergency responders will be maintained.
