Train Control Systems and Signage Installation on Graham Av between 92nd St and 97th St

Summary 

As part of work on Metro’s New Blue Improvements Project, Metro’s contractor, Mass Electric, will be installing train control systems and signage on the Metro right-of-way.

As a result, there will be minimal intermittent lane or shoulder parking closures along the Blue Line on Graham Av between 92nd St and 97th St.

This activity is anticipated to begin Wednesday, May 1st (weather permitting) and continue until Friday, October 4th, 2019. This activity will take place intermittently throughout a 24-hour period.

Essentials 

Access will be maintained for those traveling along Graham Av, however vehicles may not be able to park adjacent to the Metro right-of-way, intermittently.

What to Expect 

Standard hi rail vehicles and construction equipment will be used to complete the work.

Noise impacts are anticipated to be minimal during this operation.
