Train Clearance Testing & Live Wire Testing

As part of the Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Metro rail operations and Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will perform train clearance testing and live wire testing between the Southwestern Maintenance Yard and Hindry Ave. The train will have to cross the street-level railroad crossing at Arbor Vitae Street.

Be alert at Arbor Vitae Street & Portal Avenue railroad crossing.
Look out for railroad crossing lights, bells, and crossing arms.
Train testing will be actively taking place.

WHEN: Monday, November 18, and Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
WHERE: Testing will occur between the Southwestern Maintenance Yard. through the Arbor Vitae St crossing, up to Hindry Ave. Arbor Vitae Street and Portal Ave. 
DURATION: Two days, 8 am to 4 pm, daily.
