Roadway Improvements at Redondo Bl and High Street

Summary

As part of the Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will be working on the roadway improvements on Redondo Bl and High St. This will work will be implemented in phases. Each phase will last approximately one week.

WHAT: Roadway improvements
WHEN: Starting on December 18, 2017, from 7am to 430pm and 9pm to 6am, Monday through Sunday, weather permitting.
WHERE: Redondo Bl and High St
DURATION: Four weeks

What To Expect

Phase I
- Full closure of Access Road from Edward Vincent Jr Park
- Vehicles will be detoured to alternate park entrance and exit on 68th St and Park Way
- Eastbound lane closure on Redondo Bl to east of High St
- Parking restrictions on eastbound Redondo Bl, east of High St
- Local access will be maintained
- Flagger will assist with access as needed

Phase II
- Westbound lane closure on Redondo Bl to east of High St
- Northbound lane closure on High St to north of Redondo Bl
- Sidewalk closure on the north side of Redondo Bl and east side of High St

Phase III
- Full closure of Access Road from Edward Vincent Jr Park
- Vehicles will be detoured to alternate park entrance and exit on 68th St and Park Way
- Southbound lane closure on High St to north of Redondo Bl
- Westbound lane closure on Redondo Bl to west of High St
- Sidewalk closure on the west side of High St and the north side of Redondo Bl

Phase IV
- Westbound lane closure on Florence Av between West Bl and Prairie Av
