Sidewalk Potholing: 5436 Crenshaw Bl

As part of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Metro’s contractor, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will continue working on civil improvements in Park Mesa. The civil work includes water meter relocation, demolition of existing sidewalk, frontage road curb and gutter reconstruction, ADA ramps, street lighting, traffic signals, driveway and sidewalk reconstruction. The work will continue to be conducted in segments and phases.

As part of this work, WSCC will be potholing on the east sidewalk located at 5436 Crenshaw Bl, directly in front of Black Diamond Enterprises.

Potholing activities are needed to do exploratory excavations to determine the location and depth of underground structures. This activity will take place during one day. During the work pedestrians will be redirected outside of the area of construction. Access to adjacent business will be maintained throughout.

WHAT: Potholing on the sidewalk, East sidewalk 5436 Crenshaw Bl directly in front of Black Diamond Enterprises

WHEN: December 7, 2016 from 9am to 1pm, weather permitting.

WHAT TO EXPECT A four foot wide sidewalk will be maintained to allow pedestrian access.
