As part of the Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will be working on the roadway improvements on Cedar Av and Florence Av. This will work will be implemented in phases. Each phase will last approximately one week.

WHEN: Starting on November 16, 2017, from 8am to 430pm and 9pm to 6am, Monday through Sunday, weather permitting.
WHERE: Cedar Av and Florence Av
DURATION: One month

What To Expect

Phase I
- Work on northeast corner of Florence Av and Cedar Av
- One westbound lane closure on Florence Av at Cedar Av
- One northbound lane closure on Cedar Av, north of Florence
- Right turn restriction for westbound traffic on Florence Av onto northbound Cedar Av
- Sidewalk closure on the north side of Florence Av at Cedar Av
- Pedestrians will be redirected to the south side of Florence Av at Inglewood Av

Phase II
- Work on the northwest corner of Florence Av and Cedar Av
- Westbound lane closure on Florence Av at Cedar Av
- Southbound lane closure on Cedar Av at Florence Av

Phase III
- Work on the southwest corner of Florence Av and Cedar Av
- One eastbound lane closure on Florence Av at Cedar Av
- One southbound lane closure on Cedar Av, south of Florence Av
- Right turn restriction for eastbound traffic on Florence Av onto southbound Cedar Av
- Sidewalk closure on the south side of Florence Av, west of Cedar Av
- Pedestrians will be redirected to the north side of the street

Phase IV
- Work on the southeast corner of Florence Av and Cedar Av
- Northbound lane closure on Cedar Av, south of Florence Av
- Eastbound lane closure on Florence Av at Cedar Av
- Sidewalk closure on the south side of Florence Av, east of Cedar Av
- Pedestrians will be redirected to the north side of Florence Av
