Extension of full Northbound and Southbound Street Closure for Street Restoration

Summary

As part of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will continue working on the third phase of restoration of Crenshaw Bl through mid-November 2018. There will be no change in the existing road closure of Crenshaw Bl between Exposition Bl and Coliseum St. Restoration activities include removal of concrete panels, permanent placement of utilities, backfill, and road repaving.

What to Expect

Detour:

Northbound Crenshaw Bl detour:
- Eastbound on Martin Luther King Jr Bl
- Northbound on Western Av
- Westbound on Jefferson Bl
- Northbound on Crenshaw Bl

Southbound Crenshaw Bl detour:
- Westbound on Jefferson Bl
- Southbound on La Brea Av
- Eastbound on Rodeo Rd
- Southeast on Martin Luther King Jr Bl
- Southbound on Crenshaw Bl

Through traffic across Crenshaw Bl, heading eastbound and westbound on Exposition Bl and Coliseum St, will be maintained.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on Rodeo Rd will be restricted.

Traffic Control Officers will be deployed at critical locations throughout the detour route.

All businesses remain open during restoration work.

Access to emergency responders will be maintained.
