Continuous Weekend Street Closure of 59th St between Crenshaw Bl and Brynhurst Av

Summary

As part of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will continue working on civil improvements in Park Mesa. The civil work includes the full depth roadway replacement. This will entail the demolition of existing asphalt, excavate to street subgrade, compact base section, pave back roadway and construction of new curb and gutter.

Civil work improvements will continue to be implemented in phases. This next phase will require a full weekend closure for eastbound and westbound traffic on 59th St between Crenshaw Bl and Brynhurst Av to allow for the construction of new curb and gutter on the southwest corner of Crenshaw Bl and 59th St. The closure will be implemented starting at 9am on Friday, October 13, 2017 through 6am Monday, October 16, 2017.

- Southbound on 8th Av
- Eastbound on 59th St

Local access will be maintained.
