Street Improvements at Hindry Av and Florence Av

SUMMARY

As part of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will continue working on roadway striping and saw cutting activities on Hindry Av and Florence Av. The work will be implemented in four phases and be extended an additional four weeks.

WHEN: Continuing Monday, September 25, 2017 from 9pm to 5am Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
WHERE: Hindry Av and Florence Av
DURATION: Four weeks

WHAT TO EXPECT

Phase One

- One eastbound lane reduction on Florence Av, west of Hindry AV
- One southbound lane reduction on Hindry Av, south of Florence Av
- Southwest sidewalk closure at the corner of Hindry Av and Florence Av
- Pedestrians will be rerouted to the north side of Florence Av

Phase Two

- One eastbound lane reduction on Florence Av, west of Hindry Av
- One northbound lane reduction on Hindry Av, south of Florence Av
- Southeast sidewalk closure at the corner of Hindry Av and Florence Av
- Pedestrians will be redirected to the north side of Florence Av

Phase Three

- One westbound lane reduction on Florence Av, east of Hindry Av
- One northbound lane reduction on Hindry Av, north of Florence Av
- Northeast sidewalk closure at the corner of Hindry Av and Florence Av
- Pedestrians will be rerouted to the south side of Florence Av

Phase Four

- One westbound lane reduction on Florence Av, east of Hindry Av
- One southbound lane reduction on Hindry Av, north of Florence Av
- Northwest sidewalk closure at the corner of Hindry Av and Florence Av
- Pedestrians will be rerouted to the south side of Florence Av
