WHERE:  Crenshaw Bl between 50th and 43rd St

DURATION: Anticipated 3 years

Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will be reconfiguring traffic on Crenshaw Bl between 50th St and 43rd St to install piles and support the continued excavation of the tunnel portal.

The traffic reconfiguration will begin Friday, July 31, 2015 and will be in place for approximately 3 years.

The weekend of the reconfiguration one lane will be maintained in each direction. The reconfiguration of the street includes relocation of the k-rail (cement barriers) from the east side of Crenshaw Bl to the center of the street.

Two traffic lanes in each direction will be maintained throughout construction, when feasible.

What to Expect:

Access to businesses will be maintained.

 Access to emergency vehicles will be maintained.

 Left turn will be restored for both northbound and southbound traffic at intersection of Crenshaw Bl and Vernon Av.

 Left turns onto 48th St will be restricted for southbound traffic on Crenshaw Bl. 

 Parking restrictions will be implemented.

Pedestrians will be safely guided through an area outside of the construction zone.
