Traction Power Substation Installation at 48th Street


As part of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will be delivering the traction power substation (TPSS) building at the northwest corner of 48th St, and Crenshaw Bl. This will require continuous access to the site for one day.


WHAT: Traction power substation installation
WHEN: Thursday, July 12, 2018. 9am through 3:30pm. Weather permitting.

What To Expect

One westbound lane reduction on 48th St between Crenshaw Bl and alley.
Left turns will be restricted for eastbound traffic on 48th St onto Crenshaw Bl.
Delivery truck entering and exiting the site during daytime work hours.
Access to emergency responders will be maintained.
