Electrical Improvement Work on Crenshaw Blvd. between 52nd St. and 54th St.

Summary

As part of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Metro is completely rebuilding the curb, gutter and sidewalk in your area.  Once complete, the new streetscape will include new median landscaping, sidewalk trees, street lights, traffic signals and a repaved roadway. The work will be conducted in segments and phases.

This phase includes two weeks of electrical conduit work for street lights and traffic signals. As part of this work expect to see excavation across the frontage road and median and work along the sidewalk for the new street lights.  A 5’ section of sidewalk will remain in place for pedestrian access.

Limited intermittent frontage road closures will be implemented.
