Metro’s plan includes access to opportunity with a development project at Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and Fickett Street, near Soto Station in Boyle Heights. Led by Abode Communities, this joint development will include 60 apartments for supportive and affordable housing, a grocery store and open space, such as a community park.

Status

Metro entered into an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (ENA) with Abode Communities in 2018 to begin development plans for this site. Community outreach to refine the project and move it through the development process began in Summer 2020.
