Development Guidelines and Recent Outreach
In the Fall of 2015, Metro hosted a series of focus groups and community meetings to hear from local stakeholders about their thoughts for future development at the NoHo Station. Based on the feedback received , the Metro Board adopted a Guide for Development for the NoHo Station that specifies standards and guidelines for development on the site to ensure that the project meets Metro and community goals.
The success of the NoHo Joint Development is driven by the collaboration with community stakeholders throughout the project visioning and design process. Over the past two years, TCLA and Metro have been busy reaching out to the NoHo community by holding open houses, participating in community meetings and events, and hosting more informal community breakfasts and “office hours” to answer questions about the project, provide updates on our progress, and solicit community input.
Our partnership with the community is ongoing. We encourage those interested to get involved in the project by visiting the District NoHo website . There you can provide feedback to the developer, stay informed about upcoming events and project milestones, show your support for the vision, and spread the word about the project. Going forward, the developer will be hosting a series of community meetings to discuss their proposal for the site. Stay up to date on upcoming outreach meetings and workshops by joining the email list through the District NoHo website or Metro’s Joint Development Mailing List .
You can also share your thoughts with Metro directly by using the online comment form below or by sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us what you would like to see at NoHo Station.
