Meetings Held During Harbor Subdivision Transit Corridor Alternatives Analysis


Metro held three rounds of public meetings during the Harbor Subdivision Transit Corridor Study. The first round were Early Scoping Meetings held at the beginning of the Alternatives Analysis (AA) study in late September 2008. The intent of the Early Scoping Meetings was to inform the public about the AA process and to solicit feedback on what transit improvements should be studied.

A second round of meetings was held in April and May 2009. The purpose of the second round was to inform stakeholders about the screened project alternatives and to solicit feedback on the alternatives and potential station locations. A third round of public meetings took place in October 2009 to present the findings of the AA study. In addition to detailed descriptions of the alternatives recommended for further environmental review, preliminary station and urban design concepts were also presented.
